Safe Guarding

At Natural Equilibrium CIC, we support women through perimenopause and menopause using holistic approaches such as nutrition, herbal support and mind–body practices. Our focus is to enhance wellbeing, resilience and quality of life during this important stage of life.

While holistic support can be deeply beneficial, there may be times when someone’s emotional or mental health needs require specialist medical or psychological care beyond the scope of our service. Menopause can be a vulnerable time, and it’s important that anyone experiencing significant distress receives the right level of support.

If a client is experiencing severe depression, ongoing emotional distress, or thoughts of self‑harm or suicide, we encourage them to seek help from a qualified healthcare professional or mental health service. In these situations, we may recommend contacting a GP or an appropriate support organisation so that timely and specialist care can be provided.

Reaching out for help is a positive and courageous step, and there are many confidential services available.

If you need immediate help, please call 999 or go to your nearest A&E department.

Safeguarding Statement

Natural Equilibrium CIC practitioners are committed to providing a safe, ethical and supportive environment for all clients.

Our services offer wellbeing support and lifestyle guidance, but they do not replace medical or psychiatric care. Practitioners operate within their professional boundaries and will not attempt to treat conditions that require specialist mental health or medical intervention.

If a practitioner becomes concerned that a client:

  • may be experiencing severe mental health distress

  • may be at risk of self‑harm or suicide

  • may pose a risk to themselves or others

They will follow our safeguarding procedure. This may include:

  • Encouraging the client to contact their GP or an appropriate mental health service

  • Providing details of specialist support organisations

  • Advising immediate contact with emergency services if necessary

All safeguarding concerns are handled sensitively, confidentially and in line with UK safeguarding guidance and our duty of care.
